At Don Giovanni our menus are designed to showcase freshness and quality first and foremost.

To ensure we stay the best Italian restaurant in Manchester, we operate based on a very simple principle. All of our dishes are prepared using the freshest seasonal ingredients, sourced locally from Italian and British producers based within Greater Manchester.

We integrate traditional Italian culture into every dish we create, making our own pizza, bread, pasta and desserts freshly in house that you can also order as takeaway.

Don Giovanni is Manchester’s oldest independently-owned Italian restaurant and has been feeding the public for over 36 years. Established in 1984, Don Giovanni has a large selection of fresh fish, meat, pasta, pizza, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes, and can make most dishes vegan to order. It also carries braille and large print menus, available on request.

Adjacent to St Peter’s Square, Don Giovanni sits in the heart of Manchester City Centre. The restaurant boasts floor to ceiling windows, modern furnishings, and crisp white table cloths. Be it intimate, celebratory or corporate dining, our restaurant is perfect for all occasions such as Christmas, birthdays and engagements.

Great service and great food. My favourite Italian restaurant in Manchester. We had Dan as our waiter, he was so kind and recommended dishes according to our taste. Always come back here!

What an amazing night we had. The food is so good here and the staff treat you so friendly, has a real family vibe going on. We loved it! The creme brulee was to die for…highly recommend it!

Myself and my friend had a meal here last night for my birthday celebrations, and could not fault it at all. The staff were amazing, they were very attentive and polite, and the food could not have been better. We ordered a variety of dishes and they were the best versions of each I’ve ever tried. Would recommend highly and will return.
