OUR STORY
Our long standing Italian restaurant in Manchester is a multi-award winning, independently owned Italian restaurant in Manchester, established in 1984.
In the late 1800s thousands of Italians made new homes amongst the mills and factories of Ancoats, at the time a run down area known as Little Italy.
Don Giovanni was created by the families of the inhabitants from Manchester’s Little Italy over thirty eight years ago and became pioneers of modern day authentic Italian food – introducing generations of Mancunians to real Italian cuisine.
In true Italian style our menus are designed to showcase freshness, quality first and authentic Italian cuisine. All of our food is cooked fresh to order in our open plan kitchen.
As you take a stroll down Oxford Street you will spot our chefs hard at work making the ingredients used to create our authentic Italian dishes such as pasta, pizza and our exceptional desserts. You can watch the magic happen right in front of you in our recently installed marble window theatre.
